Handling the unique aspects of your divorce case

On Behalf of Jill White Law and Mediation PC | Mar 7, 2021 | Collaborative Divorce, Divorce Mediation

Each year in California thousands of divorce cases are filed. In some cases, the couple decides to try to work things out. In others, the case proceeds all the way to the point when a family law court issues a decree of marriage dissolution. Although there are many divorce cases pending in California at any given time, and they inevitably come to some type of conclusion, your divorce case is unique to you – and your concerns are paramount.

Your divorce case

Although most people know someone who has been through a divorce before, it is totally different when it is happening to you. Your marriage – a deeply personal matter – may feel like it is “on trial.” The unique aspects of your relationship with your soon-to-be ex-spouse may be brought to the forefront. And, other aspects of your family may be impacted as well, including your children, if you have them, and your household finances. How can you deal with all of these variables?

Well, at our law firm, we know that our clients are probably going through a turbulent time as a divorce case proceeds, which is why we try to focus on getting through the case in as smooth a process as possible. Collaborative divorce, for example, may be one possible option to scale-down the emotions involved in the case and focus on the legal issues that need to be addressed.

But, ultimately, we know that each divorce case is unique and, as a result, may require unique solutions to legal problems. Our clients’ cases are our top priority. For more information about how we attempt to help California residents who are facing these issues, please visit the divorce overview section of our law firm’s website.
